OPEN 14:30 / START 15:30. The first festival Unlucky Morpheus have staged under their own name. The bill was Unlucky Morpheus, JILUKA, SABLE HILLS, NEMOPHILA and Unholy Orpheus.

The band’s most recent concert, and their second appearance at their own label’s festival after the 2015 edition at the same venue. Frontiers Rock Festival VII ran from 25 to 27 April 2025 with twenty-one bands over three days; Pride of Lions took the Friday penultimate slot at 20:20, after Fans of the Dark, Art Nation, Shakra, Bonfire and Honeymoon Suite, with Asia closing the night at 22:00.

The second and last night of the 50th Anniversary Farewell Japan Tour 2024, at Umeda Club Quattro in Osaka. START 19:00, standing only, 9,500 yen including tax plus a 600 yen drink charge. The band were touring Defiance, their thirteenth studio album, released that April, and played across their whole career; their own announcement said these shows in Tokyo and Osaka would be their last performances in Japan before they retire from touring. Praying Mantis first played Japan in 1990, at the concert marking ten years of the new wave of British heavy metal, and this site carries live albums from four of their Japanese visits.
