STMLT (Stemireits)

STMLT, known in Japanese as Stemireits, is a Japanese all-female rock band and video-creator group that began activity in June 2022. The members were assembled through an audition and built an audience with frequent entertainment and challenge videos, while their original music took a very different direction: heavy riffs, large choruses and live arrangements drawing from hard rock, loud rock, alternative metal and metalcore. The contrast between an accessible public personality and an aggressive stage sound became the group’s defining feature. Its fans are known as “Volts.” The first original song, “Shigeki,” arrived in November 2022, followed by “Tsuikyu,” “Inazuma,” “dream walker” and “TWILIGHT.” The six-track debut EP STMLT was released on September 20, 2023. The group’s first concert sold out immediately, and in 2024 it launched the STMLT STORMBREAKER JAPAN TOUR, beginning at Kawasaki CLUB CITTA' and expanding through a national run that eventually led to KT Zepp Yokohama. Singles including “EVOL AI” and “Antimental” broadened the sound without abandoning its heavy core. After lineup changes and a period of inactivity, STMLT rebuilt around guitarist Kirara, bassist Akira, drummer Sakity, harsh-vocal and rap specialist Kanachi, and lead vocalist Mofchan. Kanachi and Sakity joined during the transition period, while Mofchan was announced as the new lead vocalist in January 2026. The current five-member lineup combines melodic lead singing with screams, rap, chorus work and a rhythm section designed for direct audience participation. Released in May 2026, “SiLENT KiLLER” was written by Kanachi and marked Mofchan’s first recorded vocal appearance with the band. By connecting the reach of its video activity with an increasingly focused live identity and a contrasting twin-vocal setup, STMLT continues to develop the distinctive space it created between girls-band culture, loud rock and creator-led entertainment.
