The low center of gravity made by Nikki Sixx’s bass, Tommy Lee’s drums and Mick Mars’s guitar strongly supports Vince Neil’s singing. Welcoming producer Bob Rock and reaching number one on the US chart, it is the band’s biggest hit. On “Dr. Feelgood,” “Kickstart My Heart” and “Without You,” from the title track’s aggression to the ballads, the album keeps each song’s personality while making a great flow. Songs like “Same Ol' Situation (S.O.S.)” and “Don't Go Away Mad (Just Go Away)” breathe the band’s full playing too.
