『Forbidden Fruit -2nd piece-』は、デビューEPの鮮烈さを引き継ぎながら、East Of Edenの重さ、陰影、構成力を一段深くした第2章である。“Judgement Syndrome”は切迫したリズムと鋭いヴァイオリン／ギターの応酬で始まり、判断や衝動がせめぎ合う感覚を演奏そのものへ置き換える。“Chasing The Moon”は夜を駆けるようなスピードと大きなメロディを持ち、湊あかねの歌が力強さだけでなく伸びやかな叙情も担う。 “EDEN”ではバンド名に結びつく象徴的な世界観を重厚な響きで描き、“鈍色のラビリンス”は迷路のように色調とテンションを変化させる。終曲“CROSS∞ROADS”は交差点という題材にふさわしく、各メンバーの異なるルーツを一つの疾走するロック曲へ合流させる代表曲だ。AyasaのバイオリンとYukiのギターは競争ではなく会話として配置され、ベースとドラムは複雑な展開でも曲の重心を失わない。前作より低域とグルーヴが強まり、派手な技巧の裏側にあるアンサンブルの精度が明確になった。5曲の短さを弱点にせず、異なる表情を連続して提示することで、East Of Edenが一度の話題性では終わらない作曲・演奏集団であることを証明したEPである。

Forbidden Fruit -2nd piece- carries forward the vivid impact of the debut EP while deepening East Of Eden’s weight, shadow and structural control. “Judgement Syndrome” opens with urgent rhythm and sharp exchanges between violin and guitar, translating the conflict between judgment and impulse directly into performance. “Chasing The Moon” combines night-driving speed with a large melody, allowing Akane Minato to show lyrical reach as well as power. “EDEN” gives the band’s symbolic world a heavier musical frame, and “鈍色のラビリンス” changes color and tension like a maze. The closing “CROSS∞ROADS” becomes the central statement: the members’ different roots meet at a single intersection and accelerate into one coherent rock song. Ayasa’s violin and Yuki’s guitar are arranged as a conversation rather than a contest, while bass and drums keep a stable center through the changing sections. Compared with the first piece, the low end and groove are stronger, making the precision beneath the visible virtuosity much clearer. The EP uses its five-song length as an advantage, presenting contrasting faces without losing momentum. It confirms that East Of Eden is not dependent on novelty; the line-up has the writing, arrangement and ensemble discipline needed to build a lasting identity.
