Eternal presents Stratovarius’s power-metal tradition through charging beats, shining keyboards, soaring vocals and thick choruses. In the faster material, guitar and keys trade detailed phrases, yet the melodic destination remains clear. The rhythm section contributes both lightness and weight, carrying the songs upward toward their refrains. Bright uplift is balanced by a small amount of melancholy and reflection. Speed and technical skill are not the only goals. Wide-opening choruses, recurring melodic hooks and themes that gradually change within longer tracks draw the listener through the record naturally. Fast material feels exhilarating, while mid-tempo passages reveal more of the vocal shape and harmonic shadow. At volume, keyboard sparkle, guitar attack, bass foundation and harmony placement become vivid.
