『DOLLS APARTMENT』は、Fukiと当時のGacharic Spin楽器陣が出会った瞬間の化学反応を、10曲の異なる部屋へ展開したDOLL$BOXXのデビューアルバムである。“Loud Twin Stars”はハイトーン・ヴォーカル、重いリフ、デスヴォイス、目まぐるしいリズムを一曲に共存させ、バンドの規格外の出発点を宣言する。“Merrily High Go Round”と“Take My Chance”では、明快なフックの背後でギター、ベース、ドラム、キーボードが細かく役割を入れ替え、ポップな入口と高度な演奏を両立させる。 “monopoly”の緊迫したグルーヴ、“ロールプレイング・ライフ”の劇的な展開、“fragrance”の叙情性は、作品が単一のメタル様式に収まらないことを示す。“KARAKURI TOWN”と“おもちゃの兵隊”では機械仕掛けのようなリズムと物語性が結びつき、“Doll's Box”はバンド名そのものを象徴する華やかさと毒気を提示する。最後の“ヌーディリズム（$ヴァージョン）”はGacharic Spin楽曲を新編成で再構築し、母体との連続性とDOLL$BOXX独自の圧力を同時に刻む。Fukiの伸びやかな歌唱だけでなく、TOMO-ZO、F チョッパー KOGA、はな、オレオレオナの各パートが常に前景へ飛び出すため、全編が見せ場の連続となる。技巧と遊び心、メタルの強度とキャッチーさを初作から高水準で結びつけた、日本のガールズ・ロック史でも特異な一枚である。

DOLLS APARTMENT turns the chemistry between Fuki and the then-current Gacharic Spin instrumental line-up into ten distinct rooms, each with its own color and mechanism. “Loud Twin Stars” combines high-register vocals, heavy riffs, death-voice accents and rapidly changing rhythm in one opening statement, immediately defining the group as something larger than a simple side project. “Merrily High Go Round” and “Take My Chance” offer direct hooks, yet guitar, bass, drums and keyboards constantly exchange roles beneath the surface, balancing pop accessibility with advanced ensemble playing. The tense groove of “monopoly,” the theatrical movement of “ロールプレイング・ライフ” and the lyricism of “fragrance” make clear that the album cannot be contained by a single metal style. “KARAKURI TOWN” and “おもちゃの兵隊” connect machine-like rhythm to vivid storytelling, while “Doll's Box” presents the glamour, danger and playful excess suggested by the band’s name. The closing “ヌーディリズム（$ヴァージョン）” rebuilds a Gacharic Spin song for the new formation, preserving the connection to its source while adding DOLL$BOXX’s own pressure and vocal scale. Fuki’s expansive voice is central, but TOMO-ZO, F Chopper KOGA, Hana and Oreo Reona repeatedly move into the foreground, making the record feel like a continuous sequence of highlights. From the first album, the group joined technical ability and humor, metal strength and catchy songwriting at an unusually high level, creating a distinctive landmark in Japanese girls’ rock.
