Unlimited Diffusion expands Aldious’ ornate twin guitars, speed and clear vocal character into a more colorful melodic-metal setting. In faster songs the guitars interlock in detail, while mid-tempo material uses harmony and keyboards to raise the drama. For all of its technique, the entrance to each song remains very easy to grasp. Bright choruses coexist with genuine metal tension, and the band’s pop instinct works naturally within the format. It offers a broad view of the appeal of one of Japan’s leading girls-metal bands.
