『Dazed and Delight』は、ALDIOUSが流麗なツイン・ギター、明快なメロディ、スピード感のあるリズムを組み合わせた4作目だ。正統派メタルの骨格を保ちながらも、ヴォーカルの豊かな表情と楽曲ごとの色彩が、アルバムに柔らかな広がりを与えている。 “Butterfly Effect”“Dominator”“Megalomaniac”のように疾走とパワーで押す曲がある一方、“シャンデリア”“アネモネ”“Red strings”ではバラードやミドルテンポならではの感情の濃さが際立つ。“魅惑のパレード”“The Breeze at Dawn”のように色彩感のある曲も加わり、収録曲の表情はこれまで以上に多彩だ。速い曲の爽快感と、じっくり聴かせる曲の深みが、無理なく同居している。 技巧と歌心を自然に結び付け、バンドの成長がはっきりと伝わる一枚である。ただ疾走するだけでなく、メロディの機微や曲の情感にまで踏み込んだことで、ALDIOUSの表現はより立体的になった。テンポや曲調の幅が広がったことで、アルバムとしての聴き応えも一段と増している。疾走系メタルの枠を保ちながらも、表現の幅を確実に押し広げた一枚である。華やかさの奥にある繊細さを味わえる、円熟へ向かう充実作だ。

Dazed and Delight combines Aldious’ fluent twin guitars, clear melody and fast-moving rhythm on the band’s fourth album. Its foundation is traditional metal, but richer vocal expression and track-by-track color give the record a softer breadth. Speed-and-power cuts such as “Butterfly Effect,” “Dominator” and “Megalomaniac” sit beside ballads and mid-tempo pieces like “シャンデリア,” “アネモネ” and “Red strings,” where the emotional weight stands out, while colorful songs such as “魅惑のパレード” and “The Breeze at Dawn” widen the palette further. The exhilaration of the faster songs and the depth of the slower ones coexist naturally. Connecting technique and songfulness, the album makes the band’s growth clear: by reaching into melodic nuance and mood, Aldious’ expression becomes more three-dimensional — a maturing record with real delicacy beneath its brightness.
