Take Them and Break Them is a six-track EP released only in Japan, on 24 April 2002, catalogue CRCL-4804, on Steamhammer and distributed by Crown Tokuma Music.
Two of the six are new: the opening title track and "Backbiter". Everything after them is a live version of an earlier song — "Make It Go Away", "Where's the Fire John?" and "Relationshipwrecked" from Peace of Mind, and "Just Because You're Paranoid" from Life Gets You Dirty.
2002 was also the year Hanoi Rocks reformed, and this EP sits between that and the following year's solo album Whatcha Want, keeping the solo thread running. Because it was never distributed outside Japan, it has long been hard to find anywhere else.
