Knockin' at Heaven's Gate - Part II

Knockin' at Heaven's Gate - Part II documents 12 March 2023 at EX Theater Roppongi in Tokyo. Where the earlier release held the first night of the WE ARE THE RESURRECTION comeback, this is the second. Two nights in the same room, and the sets do not fully overlap. "Holy War", "Golden Destination", "Empty Daydream", "Under The Red Sky" and "We The United" were not played on the first night; they are this night's five. The piano solo changes too, from Chopin's Ballade No. 1 to the Étude Op. 10 No. 12. Only with both releases side by side does the full shape of those two nights appear. The video editions carry member-focused edits and a member commentary as an alternate audio track — built for watching the show again a second way once you have watched it straight. Keeping both of the line-up's first two nights complete, across two separate releases, says plainly how the band regarded its own return at that point.
