Daughters of the Dawn - Live in Tokyo 2019

Daughters of the Dawn - Live in Tokyo 2019 is the first live release LOVEBITES put out. It documents 27 January 2019 at Mynavi BLITZ Akasaka in Tokyo, the Tokyo date of the tour behind the second album Clockwork Immortality, and it appeared on 10 July 2019 in three formats at once: Blu-ray, DVD and 2CD. The show opens on the Clockwork Immortality narration, read in English by Mikee Goodman of the UK progressive metal band SikTh — a friend of the band since their 2017 shows in England. From there it falls into "Addicted", and "Bravehearted" and "The Crusade" follow. The set reaches across everything the band had. From the first album, "Scream For Me", "Don't Bite The Dust" and "Edge Of The World"; from the mini-album Battle Against Damnation, "Break The Wall", "Above The Black Sea" and "Under The Red Sky"; from the second, "Pledge Of The Saviour", "Rising", "M.D.O.", "Journey To The Otherside" and "We The United". Three records' worth of material plays as one performance. Mikko Karmila mixed it and Mika Jussila mastered it — the same two who handle the studio records. That is why the edges of the sound here are continuous with the albums rather than looser, and every live release since has been made the same way.
