『ADVANCE GENERATION』は、“ガールズロックバンド革命”からTRiDENTへ改名した三人が、新しい世代へ進む意思を12曲で示した1stフルアルバムである。「Opening -the return of us-」から「JUST FIGHT」へ入る流れは、帰還と闘志を一続きにし、再出発を儀式のように刻む。「IMAGINATION」「RIDE ON」「SURVIVOR」は、想像力、前進、生き残る意志をそれぞれ異なる速度とリフで描き、作品前半を強い推進力で貫く。 「Dystopia」と「Ambivalent」は、明るい未来だけではなく、矛盾や不安を抱える内面へ視線を向ける。「Brand New World」と「Continue」は、そこから新しい世界と継続の意志をつかみ直す曲であり、アルバムの感情を再び上昇させる。「Supernova」は爆発的なエネルギーを放ち、「Re:ply」は誰かへの応答を通じて距離を縮める。終曲「Last Hope」は、最後まで残る希望を大きな余韻へ変え、作品全体の物語を閉じる。 三人編成であることは不足ではなく、本作の設計原理になっている。ASAKAのギターはリフと空間を同時に担い、SERINAのベースは旋律的に動いて厚みを作り、NAGISAのドラムは曲ごとの速度と呼吸を支配する。歌えるサビと硬い演奏が共存し、後のEP群で展開される攻撃性、叙情性、観客参加型の魅力がすでに揃っている。『ADVANCE GENERATION』はTRiDENTの基点であり、改名を単なる看板変更ではなく、音楽的な再誕として証明したアルバムである。

ADVANCE GENERATION is the first full album released after Girls Rock Band Kakumei became TRiDENT, and it uses twelve tracks to announce the trio’s intention to move toward a new generation. “Opening -the return of us-” flows into “JUST FIGHT,” joining return and determination as one ritual of restart. “IMAGINATION,” “RIDE ON” and “SURVIVOR” then approach creativity, forward motion and endurance through different speeds and riff shapes, giving the first half sustained momentum. “Dystopia” and “Ambivalent” turn away from a simple bright future and examine contradiction and anxiety. “Brand New World” and “Continue” recover upward movement by choosing renewal and persistence. “Supernova” releases explosive energy, while “Re:ply” reduces distance through the idea of answering another voice. “Last Hope” closes by expanding the final remaining hope into a long afterglow. The three-piece format is not a limitation but the album’s design principle. ASAKA’s guitar carries both riff and open space, SERINA’s bass moves melodically to create additional mass, and NAGISA’s drums control the breathing and velocity of every song. Memorable choruses coexist with hard physical playing, and the aggression, lyricism and crowd-facing energy developed on later EPs are already present. ADVANCE GENERATION is therefore the essential starting point for TRiDENT. It proves that the change of name was not cosmetic, but a musical rebirth with a coherent future-facing identity.
