『City of Gold』は、2014年にナパームから出た第3作である。ナパームでの2枚目であり、そして最後の一枚になった。彼らはこの後、大手を離れて自分たちのレーベルへ移る。
後年の評でも、この盤は基準として引かれ続けている。2018年の『Play to Win』を評した媒体が「『City of Gold』以来の最高作」と書いたように、彼らのカタログの中で一つの頂点として扱われてきた。この時期までに彼らは70000トンズ・オブ・メタルやドイツのバング・ユア・ヘッドといった場に立ち、ヨーロッパでの足場を固めている。

City of Gold is the third album, released by Napalm in 2014 — their second for the label and their last. After it they left the majors for a label of their own.
It has kept being used as the benchmark ever since. When Play to Win came out in 2018, one review called it their best record since City of Gold; in their own catalogue it has been treated as a peak. By this point they had played 70,000 Tons of Metal and Bang Your Head in Germany, and had a foothold in Europe.
