The Panic Broadcast is a work on which SOILWORK combined sharp melodic-death riffs, modern groove and singing that moves between clean and hard. Even in high-speed scenes the melody is not lost, and the songs keep aggression and catchiness at once. Guitarist Peter Wichers, who had left once, returned, bringing new vitality to the band’s creation. On “Late For The Kill, Early For The Slaughter,” “The Thrill,” “Deliverance Is Mine” and “Night Comes Clean,” the density of the riffs and the openness of the choruses vie. Songs like “King Of The Threshold” and “Let This River Flow” breathe the band’s full playing too. High-tension arrangement and clear melody join ideally. A powerful record that vividly shows the fullness of a revived SOILWORK.
