The Living Infinite is an ambitious work on which SOILWORK broadly developed sharp melodic death metal, modern groove and the melodic sense of clean vocals within the large scale of a double album. Fierce songs and songs that let the melody sink in appear in turn, creating a rich expression throughout. Even as a double album, high-quality songs never break off to the end. On “Spectrum of Eternity,” “This Momentary Bliss,” “Let the First Wave Rise” and “The Living Infinite I,” an outstanding constructive skill that never loses the riff or chorus hook is displayed.
