No Fixed Address is a work on which NICKELBACK, based on thick rock guitar, widely took in pop, dance and even ballad-like elements. The expression of each song differs greatly, but memorable melody and powerful vocals connect the whole. It is an ambitious record on which the band’s new challenge is felt. On “Edge of a Revolution,” “She Keeps Me Up” and “What Are You Waiting For?,” they do not confine themselves to one style, widening their range as mainstream rock. In particular, “She Keeps Me Up” is a distinctive, funky and danceable work. Songs like “Satellite” and “Miss You” breathe the band’s full playing too. It responds both when you want heavy riffs and when you want easygoing hooks. It is a wide-ranging record with multifaceted appeal.
