Get Rollin' is a work that, as a studio album after a long interval, honestly delivers characteristically NICKELBACK thick guitar, Chad Kroeger’s rough voice and memorable choruses. Lining up hard-pushing songs and relaxed songs, it shows the band’s range compactly. Even after a long career, it is a record on which their appeal has not wavered in the least. On “San Quentin,” “Those Days” and “High Time,” rather than big gimmicks, one can reaffirm the feel of a long-beloved rock band. Songs like “Skinny Little Missy,” “Steel Still Rusts” and “Just One More” breathe the band’s full playing too. The taste of a mature band is also felt, such as the nostalgic “Those Days.” Without straining for novelty, it straightforwardly presents the band’s essence.
