『Judgement Day』は、Famiを新たに迎えた新編成のLOVEBITESが、疾走感、精密なアンサンブル、そして大きな歌メロを一気に打ち出した作品だ。幕開けの“We Are The Resurrection”から表題曲“Judgement Day”へと続く流れは、バンドの再起を高らかに告げる。ツイン・ギターは激しく絡み合い、リズム隊は速い曲を確実に支え、asamiのヴォーカルはその上を力強く導く。 技巧は豊富だが、曲の核は常に高揚感にある。“Wicked Witch”“Stand And Deliver”では急加速する展開とドラマティックなブリッジが冴え、“My Orion”“Lost In The Garden”では叙情的なメロディが深い余韻を残す。締めの“Soldier Stands Solitarily”に至るまで、観客と一緒に歌えるコーラスが、楽曲を単なる速弾きの場に終わらせない。 新しいメンバーを迎えたバンドが、自分たちの様式をさらに強く証明したパワー・メタル作品である。編成の変化を乗り越え、むしろ結束を高めたことが、演奏の一体感からはっきりと伝わる。疾走と歌心、技巧とドラマ性が高い次元で噛み合った、力強い再出発の一枚だ。

Judgement Day introduces LOVEBITES with Fami newly in the lineup, driving forward with speed, precise ensemble playing and big melodic payoff. The run from the opening “We Are The Resurrection” into the title track announces the band’s renewal, as twin guitars intertwine fiercely, the rhythm section keeps fast material locked in, and asami’s vocals lead strongly above it all. There is plenty of technique, but exhilaration is always the core. “Wicked Witch” and “Stand And Deliver” sharpen sudden acceleration and dramatic bridges, while “My Orion” and “Lost In The Garden” leave a deep lyrical afterglow. Through to the closing “Soldier Stands Solitarily,” crowd-ready choruses keep the songs from becoming a mere showcase for fast playing. It is a power-metal record in which a renewed band proves its identity with even greater force, its unity — strengthened rather than shaken by the lineup change — clear in every performance.
