Return to Heaven Denied Pt. II is a work on which LABYRINTH, through gorgeous guitar, grand melody and dense power-metal construction, showed a spirit connected to a past masterpiece. The songs do not depend on speed alone, making drama with fine development and emotive phrases. As a sequel to the 1998 masterpiece Return to Heaven Denied, it is a record that inherited that worldview. Letting you enjoy both technical ensemble and high-soaring choruses, this work strongly conveys the band’s maturity. While keeping the previous album’s heat, a depth characteristic of a band that has accumulated a career is added. Roberto Tiranti’s soaring voice splendidly sings out the grand melodies. Worthy of bearing the name of the masterpiece, it is full content. It is a grand sequel that answered fans’ expectations.
