Return to Heaven Denied Pt. II is a work on which LABYRINTH, through gorgeous guitar, grand melody and dense power-metal construction, showed a spirit connected to a past masterpiece. The songs do not depend on speed alone, making drama with fine development and emotive phrases. As a sequel to the 1998 masterpiece Return to Heaven Denied, it is a record that inherited that worldview.
