Return to Heaven Denied is a work on which LABYRINTH bound high-speed guitar, vivid keyboards and soaring vocals, building dramatic power metal. While the songs move complexly, in the choruses they reach a strong melody without hesitation. Welcoming new vocalist Roberto Tiranti, it is a signature work on which the band reached a peak. On “New Horizons,” “Moonlight” and “The Night of Dreams,” technical playing and the clarity of the singing coexist at a high level. In particular, the racing “New Horizons” is a classic representative of Italian power metal. Songs like “Lady Lost in Time” and “Heaven Denied” breathe the band’s full playing too. One can fully feel the heat of European melodic metal. It is a must-hear record renowned as the band’s masterpiece.
