More Stereo Crush is a 2026 work made as an expansion of the previous Stereo Crush, complementing Gotthard’s rich songcraft. Rather than being caught by flashy signature songs alone, following the sonic center, the deft placement of choruses and the natural flow between songs, a unified, rich expression as a whole album comes clearly into view. A record showing the sure fullness of the mature band. While sensitively taking in the era’s change, the sure feel at the core of the band Gotthard is not lost in the least. The compatibility of Nic Maeder’s warm, powerful voice and Leo Leoni’s guitar shows no decline in this period either, boasting superb steadiness. The band’s native appeal — sturdy groove and open melody — breathes strongly throughout. Its great value lies in keeping sounding the quality of the sincere, powerful melodic hard rock Gotthard does best, without lowering it in the least, rather than chasing flashy surprise. Even after a long career, its creative drive has not dimmed at all.
