『One for All - All for One』は、GALNERYUSが、Syuの流麗で華麗なギター、鍵盤の、きらびやかな彩り、そして、YAMA-B(山田雅樹)の力強いハイトーン・ヴォーカルを、極めて高密度に組み合わせた、充実の第4作だ。初期の、あのネオクラシカルな様式の、一つの集大成とも言える一枚である。本作は、初代ヴォーカリストであった、YAMA-Bが在籍した、最後のスタジオ作にあたる。速い楽曲ほど、その卓越した技巧が際立つが、その中心には、常に、覚えやすく、ドラマティックなメロディが、しっかりと据えられている。 冒頭“Red Horizon”の力強い推進力、そして、疾走する人気曲“New Legend”、さらに“The Nightcraver”のような曲まで、収録曲は、いずれも聴き応えがある。“Aim at the Top”、そして、感動的な“Everlasting”のような曲も、作品の充実を伝えている。とりわけ“New Legend”や“Everlasting”では、その疾走感と、深い哀愁とが、鮮やかに交差している。 Syuの、ネオクラシカルなギターと、YAMA-Bの、力強いハイトーンとの、その卓越した組み合わせを、存分に味わえる一枚だ。初期GALNERYUSの、その魅力を、余すことなく凝縮している。日本のメロディック・パワー・メタルを、堂々たるスケールで鳴らした、力強く聴き応えのある傑作と言える。一つの時代を締めくくる一枚だ。

One for All - All for One is a fulfilling fourth album on which Galneryus combines Syu’s fluid, gorgeous guitar, the splendid color of the keyboards and Yama-B (Masaki Yamada)’s powerful high-range vocals at extremely high density. A record that can be called one culmination of the early neoclassical style. This work is the last studio work the first vocalist Yama-B belonged. The faster the songs, the more the outstanding technique stands out, yet at their center memorable, dramatic melody is always firmly placed. From the powerful drive of the opener “Red Horizon” and the speeding popular “New Legend” to a cut like “The Nightcraver,” every song is engaging, while cuts like “Aim at the Top” and the moving “Everlasting” convey the work’s fullness. In particular, on “New Legend” and “Everlasting,” speed and deep sorrow intersect vividly. A record letting you fully savor the outstanding combination of Syu’s neoclassical guitar and Yama-B’s powerful high range. It condenses early Galneryus’s appeal to the fullest.
