『The Legend Of The Six Kings』は、FROZEN CROWNが2026年10月2日に発表する第6作であり、ナパーム・レコーズでは2作目にあたる。本稿執筆時点ではまだ発売前だが、全10曲の曲目と制作の輪郭はすでに公表されている。最大の趣向は、この作品がデビュー作『The Fallen King』を直接踏まえ、王たちと暴君の物語を8年越しで継ぐという点だ。「永遠に地獄で君臨できるなら、誰が天国で焼かれたいと思う?」——2曲目の題名は、そう問いかける。 ギターにアレクサンドラ・スタメンコヴィッチを迎えた最初の作品でもある。バンドは自らの核を、より正確で直截な曲へ蒸留し続けていると語り、粗く容赦のないスピード・メタルから、シンフォニック・メタルの豊穣な言語、時おり顔を出すメロディック・デスの混沌まで、ジャンルの陰影を10曲で描くと予告した。ジャーダ・"ジェイド"・エトロは、いつもの快活さを脱ぎ、氷の王冠を戴くという。プロデュースはフェデリコ・モンデッリ。録音はザ・セントラル・レコーディング・スタジオ、ミックスとマスタリングはアンドレア・フジーニ。従来より暗い方向を示唆した、シリーズの円環を閉じる一枚になる。

The Legend of the Six Kings is the sixth album, due on 2 October 2026, and their second for Napalm Records. At the time of writing it is not yet out, but the ten titles and the outline of its making are already public. The chief conceit is that it builds directly on the debut, The Fallen King, taking up the tale of the kings and the tyrant eight years later. “Who wants to burn in Heaven if you can reign forever in Hell?” — so the second title asks. It is also the first record with guitarist Aleksandra Stamenković. The band say they are continuing to distil their core into ever more precise and direct songs, and have promised ten tracks covering the genre's shades — from raw, uncompromising speed metal through symphonic metal's lush language to the occasional chaos of melodic death metal. Giada “Jade” Etro, they say, sheds her usual brightness to take up the crown of ice. Federico Mondelli produces. Recorded at The Central Recording Studio; mixed and mastered by Andrea Fusini. A darker turn, and a record that closes the circle of the saga.
