Turning Back is a fulfilling work on which Blindman neatly layers soaring, powerful vocals, splendid, beautiful keyboards and lyrical guitar. While firmly following the European melodic-metal style, its songs strongly show a delicate, rich songcraft particular to Japanese hard rock.
