『Ømni』は、ANGRAが得意とする疾走メタル、ブラジル由来のリズム、クラシカルな和声、プログレッシヴな構成を、SF的な物語の中へまとめた第9作だ。ファビオ・リオーネの力強い歌とラファエル・ビッテンコートのギターが、複雑な曲に感情の流れを与え、技巧的な展開を単なる見せ場に終わらせない。リズムは細かく切り替わるが、作品全体には前へ進む推進力がある。 “Light of Transcendence”“Black Widow’s Web”“Insania”では、速いリフ、民族的な拍感、厚いコーラスが互いに刺激し合う。アコースティックな色彩や鍵盤の広がりも多いが、歌メロの輪郭が常に明快なため、情報量の多さが散漫さへ変わらない。物語性を支えるインタールードも、曲順に緊張と余白を作る役割を果たす。 速さや難度を味わうだけでなく、各パートが次の場面へどう感情を手渡すかに耳を向けると、本作の構築美はさらに際立つ。伝統を守りながら新しい世界を描き、ANGRAの多彩な語法を一枚のドラマとして結実させた意欲作である。

Ømni gathers Angra’s fast metal, Brazilian rhythmic identity, classical harmony and progressive construction inside a science-fiction narrative. Fabio Lione’s powerful voice and Rafael Bittencourt’s guitar work give emotional direction to music that could otherwise be defined only by its complexity. The rhythms change often, but the album never loses its forward motion. “Light of Transcendence,” “Black Widow’s Web” and “Insania” let rapid riffs, regional rhythmic accents and dense choral hooks energize one another. Acoustic colors and keyboards broaden the palette, yet the vocal melodies remain clear enough to prevent the detail from becoming diffuse. Narrative interludes also serve the sequence, adding tension and space between major songs. Ømni rewards listeners who enjoy technical precision, but its real strength is the way every part hands emotion to the next scene. It is an ambitious album that preserves Angra’s tradition while turning its many musical languages into a coherent drama.
