On October 30, Cleopatra Records released MINISTRY's Hate To Go - Take Out Or Delivery, the 17th studio album, which the band announced on July 24 as their last. All ten songs play on the album page here (the CD is CLO7334CD). According to leader Al Jourgensen, MINISTRY will bow out a year later to the day, with a show at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on October 30, 2027.

The 17th album, named as the last — announced on July 24

The album was announced on July 24. Leader Al Jourgensen put it plainly — "I'm fucking done" — and said he is proud of what he accomplished, that the path from With Sympathy to today has been quite a ride, and that he is completely at peace with the fact that it is done: "It's time to herd goats." It is the 17th studio album by a band that began in Chicago in 1981. Loudwire notes that this is the third time MINISTRY have announced a final album.

Ten songs, from Crickets to We're Still Here. The seventh, The White Man Lied, is on the CD and the digital album only, not on the LP or the cassette. Three songs came out ahead of the record as singles, each with a video — Burned Out, We Hate and Singularity — and all three videos play on the album page here. The closing We're Still Here features longtime bassist Paul Barker, who has rejoined the band more than 20 years after he split from it; it is his first credit on a MINISTRY studio album since 2003's Animositisomina.

The final show: the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, October 30, 2027

In an interview BLABBERMOUTH.NET reported on October 28, US time, Jourgensen said MINISTRY will call it quits a year to the day after the album, on October 30, 2027, with a huge show at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. A lot of the people who have said the band influenced them will come to say goodbye and jam, he said, and it will be a fun last show.

Earlier, in a BLABBERMOUTH.NET report of October 17, US time, on an interview with Hit Parader, Jourgensen said, "I just think that MINISTRY has run its course": the band had taken its genre as far as it could go, and he did not think another record would be as good.

The farewell tour runs through 2027, with Germany's DIE KRUPPS as special guests. The first leg, which Loudwire listed in July, is in Europe: 21 shows from Ronda in Utrecht on April 2 to the House of Culture in Helsinki on May 1.
