On October 20, HAGANE announced that their headline Halloween show, "HAGANE HALLOWEEN LIVE 2026", at Veats Shibuya in Tokyo on Tuesday, October 27 will be streamed live and exclusively on Niconico Live. The broadcast is scheduled from 6:30 to 8 p.m. JST. The first half hour or so of the show is free for anyone to watch, and the rest is for Niconico Premium members (¥990 a month, tax included), who can watch the whole show at no extra charge. Time-shift (archive) viewing runs until 11:59 p.m. on November 3, a public holiday in Japan, and the stream can be watched from outside Japan, except in some regions.

On air from 6:30 p.m. — the first half hour free, time-shift until November 3

According to the band and Niconico Live's programme page, the exclusive live broadcast is scheduled from 6:30 to 8 p.m. JST on Tuesday, October 27. The first half hour or so is a free part, which Niconico calls a sneak peek, open to anyone signed in with a Niconico account (registration is free). The rest is for members of Niconico Premium (¥990 a month, tax included; the price can differ by payment method), who can watch the live stream and the time-shift as much as they like during the viewing period at no extra charge. Time-shift (archive) viewing is available, as many times as you like, until 11:59 p.m. on November 3.

Niconico's page says the stream can be watched on a computer or in the Niconico Live app (iOS and Android), but not in the separate Niconico video app. For rights reasons, some songs may be streamed as video only. It can be watched from outside Japan, except in some regions, though viewing through a VPN is not guaranteed. The page carries English guidance for viewers abroad, and for Premium membership it lists PayPal (not available in every country), credit cards issued in Japan, and payment through an Apple or Google Play account.

A Halloween headline show announced on July 31 — Veats Shibuya, from 6:30 p.m.

The show itself was announced on the band's official site on July 31. It takes place at Veats Shibuya in Udagawa-cho, Shibuya, with doors at 5:45 p.m. and the show at 6:30 p.m. It is all standing; advance tickets are ¥5,500 including tax, with numbered entry and a drink charge on top, and pre-school children are not admitted. After fan club and other presale lotteries, general sale on e+ opened at 10 a.m. on September 12, and as of October 20 it runs until 11:59 p.m. on October 26. There is also an inbound sale for overseas residents.

Niconico's introduction calls it a rare Halloween headline show, set apart from the band's usual technical, hard-hitting headline shows, at which fans can also see HAGANE's other side, playful and cute, and bills the stream as the first time such a show has been broadcast live. Gekirock likewise points readers to a side of the members rarely seen at their usual shows, alongside a hard-hitting performance.

On stage are the four members: Nagi on vocals, Sakura on guitar, Sayaka on bass and JUNNA on drums. Formed on June 23, 2018, HAGANE restarted in 2024 with Nagi and JUNNA as new members, and in 2026 played their first shows abroad, beginning in Denmark. On September 30 they announced a physical deal for the whole world outside Japan with Austria's Napalm Records (our September 30 feature has the details).

Niconico Live also carried Zepp Shinjuku in December 2025 and EX THEATER ROPPONGI in August 2026

This is not the first HAGANE show on Niconico Live. On December 22, 2025, Dwango announced a live broadcast of the final show of the band's first nationwide tour, "TOP OF THE TOWER", at Zepp Shinjuku on December 25. According to AppBank, the broadcast came about because the venue had sold out, and it was the first time a HAGANE show was broadcast live on Niconico. It took the same shape as this one, the first half free and the rest for Premium members, with 21 days of time-shift viewing.

On August 29, 2026, the final show of the tour for the METAL QUEST EP, at EX THEATER ROPPONGI in Tokyo, was also streamed live and exclusively on Niconico Live. That time, viewers bought a net ticket sold through Dwango Ticket (¥3,500 including tax, plus a ¥350 service fee, with no Premium discount). This time, Premium members can watch the whole show at no extra charge. Gekirock described the August 29 show as the biggest of the band's career, and the whole of it is on the Blu-ray of the Deluxe Edition of Through the Night, the full album with a release date of December 2.

TBS's Kaihouku on November 8, Through the Night on December 2, the release tour from December 12

More follows the stream. Late on the night of Sunday, November 8, from 1:38 a.m., the band are the subject of TBS's documentary series Kaihouku (not in every region; our October 19 feature has the details), and on Sunday, November 15 they play the "STRIKE BACK 2026" bill at CLUB CITTA' in Kawasaki.

Through the Night, with a release date of December 2, comes in two editions: the Deluxe Edition (CD + Blu-ray, EACC-5010, ¥9,680) and the Standard Edition (CD, EACC-5011, ¥3,500). The Deluxe Edition's Blu-ray holds the whole August 29 show at EX THEATER ROPPONGI together with behind-the-scenes footage from that day. Outside Japan, Napalm Records release it on CD and vinyl. On Saturday, December 5 the band hold a fan meeting in two parts, "HAGANE FAN MEETING - New Album 'Through the Night' Release Party", at Shidax Culture Hall in Shibuya.

The album's release tour runs to fifteen shows, from HEAVEN'S ROCK Saitama Shintoshin VJ-3 on Saturday, December 12 to Zepp DiverCity (TOKYO) on Friday, February 19, 2027. The play-guide presale takes applications until October 25, and general sale opens at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 31. On Monday, December 28, Sakura plays a birthday headline show, "Sakura Birthday Live 2026 - Ungai Souten -", at Shibuya Ongakudo.
