On October 21, Creativeman Productions announced that LOUDNESS will sell VIP upgrade tickets, limited to 50 per show, for "Chapter 6 The END", the finale of their 45th-anniversary tour, LOUDNESS 45th Anniversary Tour 2025-2026. The two shows are LINE CUBE SHIBUYA in Tokyo on Wednesday, November 25, and NHK Osaka Hall on Friday, November 27, and the upgrade costs ¥11,000, tax included. It brings a photo with the members before doors and VIP-only goods, among them a card signed by the members. The upgrade does not admit anyone to the show on its own: a ticket for the same show is also required.
What the upgrade brings: a photo before doors and VIP-only goods, gathering at 16:00
The VIP upgrade is limited to 50 per show and costs ¥11,000, tax included. It brings two things: a photo with the members, and VIP-only goods — a card signed by the members, a VIP laminate pass, a café tumbler, a hardcover notebook, a highlighter and a shopper bag. The photo session is planned for before doors at both shows, with buyers gathering at 16:00 on November 25 in Tokyo and on November 27 in Osaka. Each buyer gets one shot, on their own camera, and anyone who misses the gathering time cannot join the session.
Sales are planned only through presales for the fan club and for Creativeman members, and a general sale at Ticket Pia; the notice gives no dates for them. A ticket for the show on the same day is required as well, and without one the upgrade's benefits cannot be used.
The band sold the same upgrade, 50 per show at ¥11,000, on the spring Japan tour Chapter 3 LOUD CRAZY LOUD in May, with a photo with the members and a signed card, a special VIP pass, a ballpoint pen, a clear file, an A4 leather-touch envelope case and a shopper bag. This time the signed card and the shopper bag stay, and the rest of the goods are new.
"Chapter 6 The END": the debut date in Tokyo, then home in Osaka
"Chapter 6 The END" closes the 45th-anniversary tour that began in December 2025. The Tokyo show falls on November 25, the day the band's first album, THE BIRTHDAY EVE, was released in 1981, and Creativeman presents the Osaka show that follows as the band's first hall show in its home city in some time. The band announced the two finals on its official site on May 29.
Both shows open at 18:00 and start at 19:00, all seats reserved: ¥20,000 for a fan-club-only front-row seat with goods, ¥15,000 for a premium seat and ¥11,000 for a general reserved seat, tax included. General sale opened at 10:00 on August 8 through Ticket Pia, Lawson Ticket and eplus. The shows are produced by Katana Music and Creativeman Productions.
The Tokyo show goes out live on WOWOW LIVE from 19:00, with live streams on WOWOW On Demand and Lemino Premium and a month of catch-up on WOWOW On Demand after the broadcast. As for what the title "The END" means, Creativeman says to come and see.
A 45th-anniversary year at home and abroad since December 2025
The 45th-anniversary tour opened in December 2025 with Chapter 1 THE BIRTHDAY EVE: GORILLA HALL OSAKA on the 23rd, NAGOYA DIAMOND HALL on the 24th and EX THEATER ROPPONGI on the 28th and 29th. Of Chapter 2 in US in March 2026, the two Texas dates were cancelled and the two California shows, Whisky a Go Go and The Coach House, were postponed to May 2027. The spring Japan tour, Chapter 3 LOUD CRAZY LOUD, ran to eight shows with an added date and ended at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo on May 29.
In June and July, Chapter 4 in EU took the band to TUSKA in Finland, Barcelona Rock Fest in Spain and TIME TO ROCK FESTIVAL in Sweden. They played THE GREATEST ROCK FUKUOKA at Mizuho PayPay Dome Fukuoka on August 29 and, as Chapter 5, CANDELABRUM Metal Fest V in León, Mexico, in September. On Sunday, October 25, they play day two of FULL METAL JAPAN 2026 at PIA ARENA MM in Yokohama, a month before the finale.
May 2027 brings the two postponed US shows, The Coach House on the 5th and Whisky a Go Go on the 12th, and the Monsters of Rock Cruise out of Hollywood from the 6th to the 11th.
Forty-five years since November 25, 1981
LOUDNESS were formed in 1981 by Akira Takasaki (guitar), Munetaka Higuchi (drums), Minoru Niihara (vocals) and Masayoshi Yamashita (bass), and released their first album, THE BIRTHDAY EVE, on November 25 that year. THUNDER IN THE EAST (1985) reached No. 74 on the Billboard album chart and stayed on it for nineteen consecutive weeks, and on the US tour with MOTLEY CRUE they became the first Japanese band to play Madison Square Garden.
Minoru Niihara announced his departure in December 1988, and after several line-up changes the original four reunited in 2000. Since Munetaka Higuchi's death on November 30, 2008, at 49, Masayuki Suzuki has played drums, and the band today is Minoru Niihara, Akira Takasaki, Masayoshi Yamashita and Masayuki Suzuki. In 2013 they set up their own management and label, Katana Music.
Their latest album is SUNBURST, the band's first double album, released on December 29, 2021 for their 40th anniversary. In 2025 they toured Japan playing THUNDER IN THE EAST in full for the album's 40th anniversary.
