Doom Metal 2020s Albums

Engines Of Demolition finds BLACK LABEL SOCIETY shaping Southern-rock grit, doom-leaning weight and bluesy guitar cries into a 2026 album with a clear sense of identity.

Down's fourth album, with a release date of 20 November 2026 on Nuclear Blast. It is their first full-length since Over the Under in 2007, and King Diamond sings on "Merciful Fate".

The last recording Cathedral ever made: a half-hour piece taped in 2012 at the end of the sessions for The Last Spire, released in October 2025.

Ghost's sixth studio album, from April 2025, and the first of their records to reach number one on the Billboard 200.

Ghost's fifth studio album, from March 2022, built on the rise and fall of empires.

Black Label Society’s eleventh album is packed with Zakk Wylde’s thick, sustaining riffs, blues-rooted phrasing and low-slung groove.
