LINER NOTES
LANGUAGE
The sixth album was released by Psychout and Universal on 6 June 2005. Chips Kiesbye produced, the fourth album in a row he had made with them since High Visibility.
The band had taken a break first and spent it elsewhere. Nicke Andersson made Communicate! with Scott Morgan as The Solution, and Robert Dahlqvist started the band that became Dundertaget. The second collection of non-album tracks, Cream of the Crap! Vol. 2, came out in between.
On the title, Andersson said it simply looked and sounded right on a rock and roll record, and then that it was also what he thought of the state of rock and roll: that the best big rock and roll being played was being played by sixty-year-olds, and that those sixty-year-olds were the Rolling Stones, so something had to be wrong.
The line-up is Andersson on vocals, guitars, piano and percussion, Dahlqvist on guitars and vocals, Kenny Hakansson on bass, Anders Lindstrom on organ, piano and guitar and Robert Eriksson on drums, with Pelle Almqvist of The Hives on one track. It reached number three in Sweden and the top twenty in Finland. The running order here is the original release's as printed.
