By the Grace of God

Chips Kiesbye produced again and George Marino mastered. Nicke Andersson sings and plays guitar, piano and percussion, Robert Dahlqvist plays guitar and sings, and Anders Lindström is on organ and piano, which gives the record its thick, keyboard-fed rock and roll. The guest list runs from Lars-Göran Petrov of Entombed on backing vocals to Martin Hederos on piano and Mattias Bärjed on guitar, and somebody brought in a set of timpani. The CD came in three different arrangements of the red, white and black cloud-and-lightning artwork, a design that went on to cover backdrops, merchandise, other sleeves and music videos. The Swedish LP had a black cover and black vinyl, the European one white and white. Limited editions in Japan and the United States added "Red Lights" and a cover of Rory Gallagher's "Big Gun", and one American version came embossed, in a fold-up digipak, with a patch. The running order here is the original's as printed.
