Won't Get Fooled Again

Won't Get Fooled Again is SKID ROW's first recording with their new lead singer, Justin Sargent: a cover of the song that closes The Who's Who's Next, released in August 1971 and written by Pete Townshend. The band announced Sargent on its website on 29 October 2026 and released the music video the same day; the single followed on earMUSIC on 30 October, one track running 6:28. Nick Raskulinecz, who produced the band's 2022 album The Gang's All Here, produced and recorded it, and Dale "Rage" Resteghini directed the video. Alongside the digital single the band offered the song as a hand-signed 7-inch single limited to 500 copies, which went on pre-order on 29 October. Sargent comes from Broadway: he took over the lead role of Drew in the rock musical Rock of Ages in March 2012 and played Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark from September 2013. According to the band, he first caught its attention in 2025, and months of conversations and rehearsals followed; after a search around the world, the band says, it found its new voice in its home state, New Jersey.
