There Will Be Execution

LINER NOTES
LANGUAGE
There Will Be Execution ended a three-year gap in which the members had put their weight behind their other bands — Primal Fear, Saxon and Masterplan. Nuclear Blast announced it for 13 January 2003. It was recorded at House of Music Studios in Winterbach, Germany, by a line-up of Mat Sinner, keyboard player Frank Rössler, Fritz Randow of Saxon on drums, and two guitarists who had both served in Primal Fear, Henny Wolter and Tom Naumann. Ralf Scheepers, Primal Fear's singer and Mat Sinner's partner in that band, sings backing vocals on "Finalizer". AFM's label history singles out what followed — a tour with HammerFall and the band's 2003 Wacken Open Air appearance — as the performance it wants remembered. Victor released the Japanese edition on 22 January 2003 with two Japan-only bonus tracks, one of them a cover of Metallica's "Wherever I May Roam".
