Nuclear Blast released The End of Sanctuary on 27 March 2000. It reached No. 87 on the German album chart, the label's second charting Sinner record in three years.
The tour behind it put the band in front of Ronnie James Dio's audiences. AFM's history lists that alongside Deep Purple, Mr. Big and Savatage — a run of names that says plainly how Sinner's live reputation was built, as a support act rather than a headliner.
Afterwards the members turned to their other projects and three years passed before the next album. Victor Entertainment released the Japanese edition on 5 April 2000.
