Coming Home Live

Coming Home Live documents the Scorpions' sixtieth-anniversary concert, played in Hanover, Germany on 5 July 2025. Vertigo released it on 5 December 2025; the Japanese edition is a two-disc SHM-CD set (UICY-16319, JAN 4988031797556) carrying nineteen items and running about an hour and thirty-one minutes. Hanover is the city the band formed in, in 1965, and both the concert's name and the Japanese title's word for a homecoming come from that. After the opening '60 Years' the band plays 'Coming Home', a song from 1988's Savage Amusement — the running order announces its purpose in its first two numbers. The set then works through the sixty years. 'The Zoo', 'Coast to Coast', 'Bad Boys Running Wild', 'Blackout', 'Big City Nights', 'Rock You Like a Hurricane', 'Still Loving You' and 'Wind of Change' are all here, and a medley of 1970s material takes a slot of its own. Recent work is represented by 'Gas in the Tank' and 'Delicate Dance' from 2022's Rock Believer, and a section in the middle of the second disc carries a solo by the drummer, Mikkey Dee.
