Liner Notes
Girls, Girls, Girls is a work on which MÖTLEY CRÜE stepped a little away from the previous album’s pop flamboyance toward grittier riffs and a bluesy groove. Mick Mars’s guitar pulls the songs with a gritty tone, and Vince Neil’s voice adds a precarious elation. It is a record on which the band’s delinquency is pushed to the fore.
On “Wild Side,” “Girls, Girls, Girls” and “Dancing On Glass,” the heavy push and a night-out feel show moments where the band’s image and playing strongly bind. Songs like “Bad Boy Boogie,” “Nona” and “You're All I Need” breathe the band’s full playing too. They return the roughness behind the flamboyance to the fore. It is an important record showing the band’s fullness in the mid-1980s.
