LINER NOTES
LANGUAGE
One Man Gang is Michael Monroe's ninth solo album and the first he made for Silver Lining Music. It was recorded in March 2018 and released on 18 October 2019, with Victor Entertainment issuing the Japanese edition the same day.
Monroe produced it with Rich Jones and Steve Conte. Petri Majuri recorded and mixed, Svante Forsback mastered. It is a record with a long guest list: Captain Sensible of The Damned and Nasty Suicide, formerly of Hanoi Rocks, both play lead guitar, and Eicca Toppinen of Apocalyptica plays cello.
"Last Train to Tokyo" names the city in its title and is the album's only live-action music video; the title track and "Junk Planet" have lyric videos. The Japanese deluxe edition was a limited pressing sold only in Japan, adding three bonus tracks and a DVD of six music videos.
