Cause for Conflict

Cause for Conflict appeared in 1995, dated 1 August by some sources and July by others. GUN Records released it in Europe, Noise Records in the United States, and Noise with Victor in Japan on 23 August as VICP-5609. It was recorded at Ocean Studios in Burbank, California, produced by Vincent Wojno with the band. It keeps the industrial experiment of the album before it and lets thrash metal back in beside it. The line-up moved twice. Ventor left in 1994, and Joe Cangelosi, who replaced him, played on this album alone. Christian Giesler came in on bass in place of Rob Fioretti and stayed until 2019. It is the last Kreator album with the guitarist Frank "Blackfire" Gosdzik. It reached number forty-eight in Germany. Twelve songs, 47 minutes and 28 seconds, with a hidden track after "Isolation"; the Japanese and American pressings carry thirteen. The running order here is that of the original GUN 071 CD.
