LINER NOTES

The ninth album came four and a half years after its predecessor, the longest gap between DragonForce studio records. Napalm Records released it on 15 March 2024, and in Japan Victor Entertainment issued it two days earlier, on the 13th, as a standard CD and a two-disc deluxe edition — the band's first Japanese release on Victor since The Power Within twelve years before.
Damien Rainaud produced it with Sam Totman and Herman Li, and recorded, mixed and mastered it at Mix Unlimited in Los Angeles. It is the first album with Alicia Vigil, who had toured with the band since 2020, as their full-time bassist, and the last one Marc Hudson sang on before he stepped back from performing in 2026.
The main album runs ten songs and about forty-nine minutes, the shortest DragonForce studio record, and it closes on the band's own take on Taylor Swift's "Wildest Dreams". The bonus disc, Warp Speed Warriors Alliance, carries guest versions: "Astro Warrior Anthem" with Matthew K. Heafy and Nita Strauss, "Doomsday Party" with Elize Ryd, and "Burning Heart" sung with Alissa White-Gluz — who would join the band as its frontwoman two years later.
