DragonForce

Announced on 22 September 2026, this is DragonForce's tenth studio album and the first to carry the band's own name. Napalm Records releases it on 19 March 2027, and the band's site names JVC Victor as the Japanese label. Jens Bogren produced it, his third DragonForce album after Maximum Overload and Reaching into Infinity, and it was recorded across the United States, Britain, Canada and Sweden. The artwork is by Mark Riddick. The line-up behind it is new. In May 2026 the former Arch Enemy singer Alissa White-Gluz joined as the band's first frontwoman, and in September Marc Hudson stepped back from performing because of tinnitus, with his one-time vocal coach Alessio Garavello taking the male vocals. This is the first album on which the two share the singing, recorded with Herman Li, Sam Totman, Gee Anzalone and Alicia Vigil. The first single, "Hunger of the Beast", arrived with a live performance video, and the band describe it as a song written for the range of both voices. The track list itself has not been published: the label's own product page says it is still to be revealed. A twenty-two-date European headline tour follows in April and May 2027.
