DOLLS AETHER

DOLLS AETHER is the new record by DOLL$BOXX, released by King Records on 3 March 2027 and billed by the label as the band's third album. The five-piece pairs vocalist Fuki of Unlucky Morpheus with four members of Gacharic Spin: TOMO-ZO on guitar, F Chopper KOGA on bass, Oreo Reona on keyboards and Hana on drums. Their previous record of new songs beyond a single was the EP high $pec in November 2017, about nine and a half years earlier; in August 2026 they put out the tokusatsu drama theme "Hashitte! Gachitte! Dogengers!" as a single, and on 26 September 2026 they played their first headline show in eight years, at Ebisu The Garden Hall. The album holds six songs. When it was announced on 23 October 2026, their titles had not been given. It comes in two pressings with the same CD. The standard edition (KICS-4280, JPY 2,500 incl. tax) is the CD alone. The first-press deluxe edition (KICS-94280, JPY 13,000 incl. tax) comes in a three-sided slipcase box with a colour photobooklet and a Blu-ray of the complete Ebisu The Garden Hall show; King Records lists a music video of a new song for the disc as well. The album shares its name with the tour announced alongside it, DOLL$BOXX TOUR 2027 "DOLLS AETHER": four dates in March 2027, opening at DRUM Be-1 in Fukuoka on the 14th and closing at EX THEATER ROPPONGI in Tokyo on the 28th, with BIGCAT in Osaka on the 20th and Electric Lady Land 1 in Nagoya on the 22nd between them.
