『D-X』は、TRiDENTの持つ攻撃性を軸にしながら、葛藤、ユーモア、答えを探す感情までを一枚へ収めた5曲入りEPである。「CRY OUT」は、内側に押し込めた思いを外へ放つような歌と、切迫したリフ、押し引きの強いリズムによって、作品の中心を形成する。「DISCORD」は、噛み合わない感情や関係を、緊張感のある展開と鋭いアクセントで描き、三人のアンサンブルが生む硬質な魅力を際立たせる。 「Spoopy」は、重いサウンドの中へ不気味さと遊び心を持ち込み、TRiDENTが深刻さだけに閉じないバンドであることを示す。「Answer」は、迷いの中で自分なりの答えへ近づく過程を、力を抑えた場面と大きく開くサビの対比で表現。終曲「シグナル」は、誰かへ届く合図と未来への手掛かりを重ね、作品を孤立ではなく接続の感覚で閉じる。 五曲の配置は、叫びから不協和、遊戯、内省、希望へと感情を移動させる。ASAKAのギターとヴォーカルが前線を切り開き、SERINAのベースとコーラスが厚みと旋律を与え、NAGISAのドラムが場面転換を明確にするため、短いEPでも物語の起伏が大きい。『D-X』は、TRiDENTが“強い女性ロック・バンド”という分かりやすい枠を越え、感情の複雑さを演奏のダイナミクスへ変換できることを示した作品である。

D-X keeps TRiDENT’s aggressive character at its center while making room for conflict, humor and the search for an answer. “CRY OUT” forms the record’s emotional core, pairing a vocal that feels like the release of something long contained with urgent guitar and a rhythm that repeatedly tightens and expands. “DISCORD” turns emotional and interpersonal misalignment into sharp accents and tense transitions, highlighting the hard, precise appeal of the trio’s ensemble work. “Spoopy” inserts an eerie but playful mood into the heavy setting, proving that the band does not need to remain solemn in order to sound powerful. “Answer” uses the contrast between controlled passages and a wider chorus to portray movement through uncertainty. “Signal” closes by joining the image of a message sent to another person with the idea of a clue pointing toward the future, ending the EP through connection rather than isolation. The five-song sequence travels from release to dissonance, play, reflection and hope. ASAKA’s guitar and voice open the front line, SERINA’s bass and chorus add both mass and melody, and NAGISA’s drums define every change of scene. The result feels larger than its short running time. D-X shows that TRiDENT can move beyond the simple category of a powerful women’s rock band and convert complicated emotion into dynamic, highly physical performance.
