『STMLT』は、ステミレイツがYouTubeで培った親しみやすさと、ライヴで鳴らす重厚なバンド・サウンドを初めて作品単位で結びつけた1st EPである。冒頭の「刺激」は、名前の由来にも通じる衝動を直線的なリフと大きなサビへ変換し、グループの出発点を鮮明に刻む。「追求」は迷いながらも理想へ手を伸ばす姿を、硬質なリズムと感情の起伏で描写。「イナズマ」は疾走感とキャッチーな言葉を前面に出し、観客が声を重ねやすいライヴ・アンセムとして機能する。 中盤の「TWILIGHT」は、明暗が交差するメロディとヘヴィな低音の対比が印象的だ。「dream walker」では夢を追う不安と意志を、浮遊感のある導入から押しの強いバンド演奏へ展開し、作品に物語的な奥行きを与える。終曲「AnimaZ」は攻撃的なフレーズと遊び心を同居させ、単なる“動画発の企画バンド”ではなく、音楽そのものを武器に前進する集団であることを示す。 全6曲は、ハードロック、ラウドロック、オルタナティヴ・メタル、メタルコアの要素を取り込みながら、難解さよりも即効性を優先している。明るいキャラクターと重量感のある楽曲の落差こそが本作の核であり、そのギャップが後の「EVOL AI」「Antimental」「ZENTSUPPA」、そして新体制の「SiLENT KiLLER」へ続くステミレイツの基礎になった。

STMLT is the first release to unite the group’s approachable YouTube personality with the weight and impact of its live band sound. “Shigeki” opens with a direct riff and a large chorus, turning the idea of stimulation into a clear statement of identity. “Tsuikyu” follows with a more searching emotional shape, matching its theme of pursuing an ideal with a firm rhythmic foundation. “Inazuma” increases the speed and favors instantly memorable phrases, making it a natural audience-participation song. “TWILIGHT” brings a darker contrast through the meeting of bright melody and low-end heaviness. “dream walker” moves from a floating introduction into a forceful full-band arrangement, giving the EP a stronger narrative arc. Closing track “AnimaZ” combines aggressive phrasing with a playful edge and makes the case that STMLT is more than a video-born project: the music itself is intended to carry the group forward. Across six tracks, the record draws from hard rock, loud rock, alternative metal and metalcore while favoring immediacy over complexity. The central appeal is the gap between the members’ lively public character and the songs’ substantial weight. That contrast became the foundation for later singles such as “EVOL AI,” “Antimental,” “ZENTSUPPA” and the renewed-lineup track “SiLENT KiLLER.”
