『FOURTH DIMENSION』通常盤は、Lonesome_Blueの2ndフル・アルバム本編10曲を、余分な装飾なしで受け取るためのエディションである。2022年の『Second To None』から約3年半、バンドは編成の変化を経て3人体制での再始動を果たし、2026年にはギタリストSallyを迎えてキングレコードからメジャー・デビューを果たした。“第四次元”という題名は、4作目のフィジカル作品であることと、4人目のメンバーが加わったことを同時に指している。 サウンド・プロデューサーにMaoを据えた本作は、Lonesome_Blueがこれまで持っていたメタル／ハードロックの重さと、声優として培われた言葉の表現力を、より明快な楽曲構造の中で両立させる。冒頭の“EVERGLOW”は、輪郭のはっきりしたリフと大きく開くサビを衝突させず、新体制の到達点を最短距離で提示する。“Break the Limit”“Reason To Be”が推進力を担い、Sally作曲の“Ideal Blue”とMIZUKI作曲の“Blue Canvas”が、加入したばかりの奏者と長く支えてきた奏者の書き味を並べて聴かせる。 後半は振れ幅が広い。“Will-o'-the-wisp”の掴みどころのない揺らぎ、直線的でありながら展開に仕掛けを残す“New Breed”、野村麻衣子が作詞した“Burn This Night”の熱、そして抑制から解放へ向かうパワー・バラード“The Rose of Peace”。最後に置かれた“ALIVE!”は、技巧の誇示ではなく「まだ鳴らし続けている」という事実そのものを結論にする。ボーナスCDを持たない分、通常盤は10曲の流れだけで完結しており、アルバムとしての設計を最も素直に確認できる形だ。

The standard edition of FOURTH DIMENSION contains the ten main tracks of Lonesome_Blue’s second full-length album with nothing added around them. Roughly three and a half years after Second To None, the band has passed through a lineup change, restarted as a three-piece, and in 2026 made its major-label debut on King Records with guitarist Sally on board. The title points in two directions at once: a fourth physical release, and a fourth member. With Mao as sound producer, the record holds together the metal and hard-rock weight the band already had and the articulate, performance-trained vocal delivery that has always set them apart. “EVERGLOW” opens by placing a clearly drawn riff against a wide chorus without letting either dominate. “Break the Limit” and “Reason To Be” carry momentum, while “Ideal Blue” (written by Sally) and “Blue Canvas” (written by MIZUKI) set the newest writer and a long-standing one side by side. The second half widens the range: the elusive drift of “Will-o’-the-wisp”, the direct but structurally sly “New Breed”, the heat of “Burn This Night” with lyrics by Nomura, and the power ballad “The Rose of Peace” moving from restraint into release. “ALIVE!” closes not with a display of technique but with the plain fact of still playing. Without a bonus disc, this edition lets the ten-song arc stand on its own, which is the clearest way to hear how the album is built.
