Giants & Monsters is a 2025 album Helloween has honed around the drive of German power metal, bright humor and grand choruses. The guitar runs sharp and the rhythm keeps its momentum throughout, yet Helloween’s accessibility always breathes in the songs. It is a record that pushes the fullness of the reunion lineup further. Multiple voices change color scene by scene, creating a distinctive festivity where huge characters seem to stand side by side in the choruses. From the momentum of the opener “Giants On The Run” and the lift of “We Can Be Gods” to the melody of “Into The Sun,” the placement of speed songs, dramatic development and light hooks is deft, conveying the abundance of a repertoire cultivated over a long career.
