『Shout』は、HARDLINEがメロディック・ハード・ロックの王道感と、AOR的に磨かれた歌のドラマを軸に、2026年の作品として磨き上げたアルバムだ。フロンティアーズを離れ、シュタインハンマー/SPVから発表された本作は、ジョニー・ジョエリ(ヴォーカル)、ルカ・プリンチョッタ(ギター)、アレッサンドロ・デル・ヴェッキオ(鍵盤/プロデュース)、アンナ・ポルタルーピ(ベース)、マルコ・ディ・サルヴィア(ドラム)による布陣で、デビュー作の精神を現代の音で受け継ぐ。 表情豊かな歌が作品全体を導き、タイトルのように胸の内から声を上げる感覚を作る。各曲はコンパクトで、フックに向けた導線が分かりやすい。スコーピオンズの“When You Came Into My Life”のカヴァーは、往年の“Hot Cherie”を思わせる嬉しい試みだ。フロンティアーズ期より一段と骨太で攻撃的な質感を持ち、“Rise Up”や“Welcome to the Thunder”では力強いリフが前に出る。締めのバラード“Glow”では静かな余韻を残す。メロディと情熱を正面から届ける、HARDLINEらしい誠実なハード・ロック作品である。

Shout is the album Hardline polished as a 2026 release, built on the classic feel of melodic hard rock and AOR-refined vocal drama. Leaving Frontiers and released on Steamhammer/SPV, it features Johnny Gioeli (vocals), Luca Princiotta (guitar), Alessandro Del Vecchio (keys/production), Anna Portalupi (bass) and Marco Di Salvia (drums), carrying the debut’s spirit into a modern sound. Expressive vocals lead the whole record, creating the sense of raising your voice from within, as the title suggests. Each song is compact, with a clear path toward the hook. A cover of Scorpions’ “When You Came Into My Life” is a welcome move recalling the old “Hot Cherie.” It has a beefier, more aggressive texture than the Frontiers era, with strong riffs stepping forward on “Rise Up” and “Welcome to the Thunder.” The closing ballad “Glow” leaves a quiet afterglow. A sincere hard-rock record in the Hardline vein, delivering melody and passion head-on.
