MyEarthDream is a work on which EDENBRIDGE bound the clear singing of Sabine Edelsbacher and Lanvall’s guitar and orchestration to draw a fantastical world. Even beneath heavy riffs the melody shines clearly, and the songs have a soft floating quality. Boldly taking in orchestration, the band’s symphonic orientation is deepened further. On “The Force Within,” “Shadowplay,” “Whale Rider” and “Adamantine,” keyboards and choral layers make a wide scenery, supporting each song’s narrative quality. Songs like “Undying Devotion” and “Remember Me” breathe the band’s delicate lyricism too. Grand scale and accessible melody balance at a high level. Bringing together symphonic metal’s flair with a lyrical, delicate sense, it is a full record.
