Synchro Anarchy

Synchro Anarchy came out on 11 February 2022 on Century Media as 19439967852. The band count it as their fifteenth studio album. It was written at a time when they could neither travel nor gather: demos and files went back and forth, and they met just before recording to settle the details — worked, as Mongrain puts it, until it sounded like the four of them playing in one room. The band produced it with Francis Perron, who has been part of this sound since the Post Society EP of 2016 and who recorded and mixed it at RadicArt Studio; Maor Appelbaum mastered it. Snake sings, Mongrain plays guitar, Laroche plays bass and Away plays drums. Three songs went out ahead of it: "Paranormalium" on 5 January 2022, the title track on 26 January and "Sleeves Off" on the day of release. It reached number 67 in Austria, 146 in Flanders and 138 in Wallonia. The limited edition adds a second disc of eleven live recordings from 2018. The nine listed here are the standard pressing's.
