TRiDENT 1ST LIVE DVD EPISODE 0-the return of us-

TRiDENT 1ST LIVE DVD EPISODE 0-the return of us- documents TRiDENT's first headline show, played at Zepp Haneda in Tokyo on 15 December 2020. It was released on 16 June 2021 as TRIDENT-03. The subtitle says what the night was. Having come through Girls Rock Band Kakumei, the three of them stood on a large stage under their own name for the first time. An SE leads into "JUST FIGHT", "RIDE ON" and "SURVIVOR", then "VOLTAGE", "シリアスゲーム" and "No Regret" before "Brand New World", "Ambivalent" and "Continue". "CHANGE", "Re:ply" and "START" follow, and "Last Hope" closes. What makes it worth having is the timing. Neither the first album ADVANCE GENERATION (March 2021) nor the EP Saikousou (that June) existed yet. Most of what is played here was released as a recording only afterwards, which makes this footage a document of a band that arrived before its records did. The between-song talking is left in, so the air of three people at the very start of TRiDENT is still on the disc. As the origin point of the discography it means something the studio records cannot.
